Take a look at the 3DExpo Magazine issue 3 for an interview with Eva about this short:

http://carraralounge.com/index.php?topic=447.0

And no this isnt the first short done in Carrara, there are others, but I think this is the more beautiful one.

Thank you for the positive feedback!

like Marcelo mentioned there is an article in the Expo magazine.
But if you have other questions I'd be glad to answer them.
Sometimes I'm pondering myself when I watch an image "how the hell has he done that?".

So I really would love to exchange about techniques that are used by others and by myself.

Very nice animation and a fantastic result if we consider the amount of work to be done for such a film.

Congratulations!

Hello themonster,

I've rigged the bear in Poser/DAZStudio. The animation is done all in Carrara but  the cloth animations.
The cloth animation has been made in  Poser and exported to Carrara.

Even if Poser rigging has some disadvantages compared to Carrara rigging, it also has some features Carrara doesn't have. For example the ability to use remote controls. But there are also others like symmetrical rigging options and of course the possibility to use the characters together with Poser Tools like cloth simulation.

The facial expressions are simple morphs.

The rendering is all done in Carrara.
